Live Music Series: Mount Eerie at Longhorn Cavern
Come spend an evening with us and Mount Eerie inside Longhorn Cavern! This event takes place inside of an actual cavern. The occupancy of the site is under 50 people so this will be a uniquely intimate setting. We've dreamt of this event for nearly a decade! Please note that this event is sold out. Tickets cannot be transferred to another party. The name on the original reservation must match the ID of the person attending.
About Longhorn Cavern
Longhorn Cavern is a beautiful state park about 1.25 hours Northwest of Austin, Texas. The cavern has an eclectic history: It was once a Comanche meeting hall, then it was occupied by soldiers during the civil war, then it was an outlaw hideout, then a dance hall during prohibition, and later it became a makeshift bunker for President Lyndon B. Johnson. Now—on June 6th—the cavern will be the site of a special evening with Mount Eerie!
Event Details
This event will take place between 7:45pm-9:15pm. "Doors" will open at 7:45pm and Mount Eerie will play from 8pm-9:15pm. This event is all ages. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, please. Food and beverage are not allowed in the cavern, please. Drugs and alcohol are not allowed on the premises. This is a wonderful state park. Please help us keep the site as clean as we found it.
Limited Capacity
The cavern can only hold 49 people in total which means we can only invite a small group to this gathering. Unfortunately we are unable to make any exceptions to this capacity limit. Please be sure to bring ID and your reservation confirmation. We can only allow entry to folks who have an order confirmation and a valid ID in hand.
Limit 2 Reservations
Please note that you may purchase up to two reservations. Any repeat reservations (making separate groups of reservations under aliases etc)—or reservations for 3 or more people—will be refunded.
Poster
The beautiful screenprinted poster to represent the evening is made with Dan McCarthy. It is available for $40. The print is a signed and numbered edition of 59.
